February is still cold and just when we think winter is over—Arkansas gets an ice storm shutting down everything. School’s out and no bread or milk left in stores. What a great time to sit in front of the fire drinking the absolute BEST hot chocolate you ever tasted. Really, this is no exaggeration. Now this recipe is for a lot of hot chocolate. You’ll want to share it with your friends and family. You don’t even have to tell them where you got it. You take the credit. Nana doesn’t mind. Recipe lovingly provided by Nana. You’ll see why the grandkids love her so much. By the way, it also makes a great present for teachers. Get a pretty jar, a pint size Mason will do. Fill with Nana’s hot chocolate, tie a bow, and your kids get a reprieve at school---not that yours need one. Nana’s Hot Chocolate Mix (approximately 78 servings)

38 oz. powdered milk 24 oz. Nestle’s Quick 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 lb. Coffeemate Mix all ingredients together well and keep in closed container. Add 4 level tablespoons mix to 1 cup hot water. Add more mix to reach desired strength. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows. Yum! Yum!
