It’s Winter And Time For
Nana’s Chili Good chili but not too hot for those with a sensitive pallet. Adjust with spices to increase heat. Can also serve with Louisiana Hot Sauce. Wow! Now that’s Eatin’
Ingredients (Serves 30)
6 lb ground beef ½ bulb garlic 1 ½ onions 2 large cans tomato juice 102 oz diced tomatoes 10 oz Rotel, diced 2 teaspoon garlic salt ¾ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup chili powder 3 tablespoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 can pinto beans (optional)
Directions 1. Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet. (Transfer to large cooking pot) (Drain if you prefer less grease) 2. Add chili powder, cumin, and remaining dry ingredients. 3. Add all liquid ingredients and beans if you choose to use them. 4. Simmer for 30 minutes or more until hot. 5. Serve with shredded cheese and crackers or Fritos. 6. (I prefer not to use beans)
