OPPORTUNITY FOR TRADES INSTRUCTORS

Diamond State Vocational School is looking for qualified instructors to teach our 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd & 4 th year US DOL apprenticeship programs as well as our pre-apprenticeship courses. At Diamond State, we provide high-quality, comprehensive & meaningful education. Diamond State offers PRE-APPRENTICESHIP courses that provide the necessary training to procure gainful employment in a construction industry and pursue an apprenticeship within that trade.

Diamond State offers US DOL certified APPRENTICESHIPS for electrical, plumbing, HVACR, and roofing. Apprentices work full-time jobs in a trade and receive specialized training that will set them apart from their coworkers. Apprentices have the opportunity to learn a trade and earn wages simultaneously.

EMPLOYABILITY REQUIREMENTS  3-5 years of full time experience in HVACR  High school diploma or GED  Legally able to work in the United States

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  Possess a thorough knowledge of HVACR principles and processes  Plan and teach lessons to groups of 10+ students  Maintain accurate records of student course progression and attendance

Currently, all available positions are contracted, part-time positions. Hours will vary based on student enrollment but will predominantly be weekday afternoons or evenings. Occasionally, instructors may also be asked to lead half-day sessions on Saturdays.
