Open Letter Renewing Your Membership or Joining the Arkansas HVACR Association

Sometimes our guys don’t know what the Arkansas HVACR Association does or if it is worth their time and money. Now that continuing education is required for licensees, the Association is more important than ever before. The following is just what we’ve done this past year . 1. 8 “ A2L ” continuing education classes 2. 8 “ Understanding Basic Code According to ICC ” continuing education classes 3. 8 Manual J continuing education classes 4. 2 OSHA 10 continuing education classes 5. Established a partnership with Gallagher for them to offer brokerage of health insurance for individuals and your company. 6. Partnered with MemberDeals for travel discounts A. 8 chapter continuing education classes in the spring of 2026. These are free to members . Meal and CE — What a deal. B. 8 chapter continuing education classes in the fall of 2026 These are free to members . Meal and CE — What a deal. C. 5 Manual J continuing education classes in spring of 2026 D. 2 Business continuing education classes in spring of 2026 E. 5 First Aid & CPR continuing education classes in fall of 2026 F. We ’re working with Instructor’s Council to standardize course numbering. Presently working on minimum skill sets with competency assessment We need your help as we move into the future. To affect change, we need you to join or renew your membership. The dues are so low. In fact, the lowest of any trade association that I am aware of. While money is necessary to keep us afloat, it is your name and company added to our roster that gives us the political strength to protect our industry and to affect positive change. Can’t do it without you. Look, I know what it is like to be in an attic and have the sweat run down your butt crack. Please excuse the example but I want you to know that I respect your time and your money. You earn every dollar and every dollar needs to be spent wisely. We promise that we will do our best to make your investment a wise one. It’s a big job so let’s do it toge ther.
