Prep Time: 10 min. Cook Time: 24 min. Total Time: 34 minutes Ingredients: 1 pkg caramels (14 ounces) 1/2 cup Pet Milk 1 German chocolate cake mix (dry only)

3/4 cup butter melted 1 cup optional chopped 1/3 cup Pet Milk 6 ozs chocolate chips Directions Yield: 24

1. Melt caramels and 1/2 cup Pet milk in microwave for 1 minute, stir; microwave another 40 seconds and stir; and another 30 seconds and stir until combined thoroughly. Microwave another few seconds as needed. 2. Combine cake mix, butter, pecans, and 1/3 cup Pet milk to pie crust consistency. 3. Pat 1/2 of mixture you made in #2 into a 13" X 9" pan sprayed with Baker's Joy. 4. Bake 6 minutes at 350˚. 5. Next put on chocolate chips and pour melted caramel mixture over this. 6. Crumble the remaining cake mixture over the above. 7. Bake an additional 16 - 18 minutes. 8. Cool before cutting. 9. May sprinkle powdered sugar on top if desired.

A glass of milk or a cup of coffee and these decadent brownies will put you into an epicurean’s comatose state. The caramel, the chocolate, the nuts, the powdered sugar—it’s a palate pleasing,

tummy filling, sensory satisfying state of mine.
