A Day at Nana’s Baking Strawberry Pie Ingredients 1 pie crust baked 1 cup sugar ¼ cup cornstarch less 1 tablespoon ¼ tsp salt 1 cup water 3 oz pkg strawberry jello 1 qt strawberries Directions 1. Mix : sugar, cornstarch, and salt in pan. Slowly stir in water 2. Mash a handful of strawberries, add to above mixture and cook until it thickens 3. Boil 3 minutes 4. Remove from heat and add jello. Stir well 5. Cool and add remaining strawberries to mixture and spoon into pie shell 6. Sit 1 hour in refrigerator until firm 7. Serve with homemade whip cream or extra creamy Reddi Whip™
