Lemon Pie

Lemon Ice Box Pie

Gonna ’ love this slightly tart yet oh so sweet desert. Super easy to make and sure to win compliments from everyone.

Ingredients 1 crumb crust pie shell cooled

Filling 1 Can Eagle Brand milk ½ cup lemon juice 2 egg yolks or egg yolk substitute Méringue 2 egg whites or egg white substitute ¼ cup sugar ½ tsp cream of tarter

Directions A. Blend filling and put in crust.

B. Mix egg whites (room temperature) and sugar and cream of tartar til peaks form. C. Put meringue on top of filling and bake at 325 til light brown (about 15 minutes; however keep a close watch)
