This includes an understanding of probe mapping, probe placement, app navigation, just in time education, target calculations, air properties and airflow, data streaming, and reporting. 3. All courses will include the power point materials for future classroom training, the vacuum guide (Review of Vacuum for Service Engineers, 16 copies), copies of the Combustion Quick Start, print and PDF, and a block of FreeBits that can be used for the lab equipment for cloud storage, and data streaming. (not required, but good to learn to use). We will also set each of the colleges up as a company so jobs can be assigned and reports sent back to the instructor. THE CLASS IS FREE! For College HVACR Technical Instructors The class is FREE to the senior technical instructor at each of the colleges and training programs. Additionally, each college will receive over $3,000 in equipment to help them teach the curriculum at their schools. “Train the Trainer” Comes to Arkansas HVACR Education As the first outcome of Sector Reviews of the 16 Arkansas HVACR training programs, the Arkansas HVACR Association is sponsoring a blending of Quality Install and Jim Bergmann’s Smart Diagnostic Tools / Measure Quick. The reviews evaluated programs and will include suggestions for each as the report is put together by Office of Skills Development. Fortunately, the first big step is twofold. First. With sponsorship by OSD and the Energy Office, Jim Bergmann will teach equipment important parts of a quality installation, and one of the least understood. There are a lot of time saving techniques that can dramatically change the way that this is taught and applied. 2. Commissioning HVAC appliances with measureQuick, focusing specifically on proper A/C commissioning and service. 3. Gas Furnace commissioning and Combustion testing 4.
