Nana’s Chicken Spaghetti

Serves 6

Ingredients • ½ cup butter • 1 medium onion • 1 green bell pepper sliced longwise • 2 Tbl spoon parsley • ½ cup flour • 1 Tbl spoon salt • 5 cups chicken broth • 1 can chopped Rotel • Velveeta cheese / no more than ¼ lb • 4 cups cooked chicken diced • 2 Tbl spoon lemon juice • 1 lb spaghetti

Directions

1. Melt butter, add onion, pepper, parsley, and cook until tender 2. Blend in flour and salt 3. Gradually add chicken broth and Rotel 4. Cook, stirring until thick and boiling 5. Add Velveeta Cheese and chicken and lemon juice 6. Stir and heat 7. Cook spaghetti. Drain. Combine with chicken and sauce

8. If doubling the recipe, don ’t double the Rotel. It’s too hot for the little ones.

Don ’ t eat this with company

They ’ ll eat too much & You ’ ll embarrass yourself
