7. Measure winding to winding on the plug feeding the motor (called phase to phase below). Resistances should be less than 20 ohms and nearly the same between all phases/windings. 8. Measure from each winding to ground on the casing, and you should see no less than 100k ohms to ground. 9. If the motor checks out OK and the module is receiving inputs, but the motor still isn't running, then it is the module that needs to be replaced. They’ll slide it into their non-credit continuing education course offerings. Some may already have one ready to go. Whether or not they are prepared, all of the 15 programs are open to local contractors to make suggestions. They have an open door policy and invite you to join their Advisory

Board. They are required to have a committee that listens to local businesses and to provide the needs of contractors in their service area. it up in the Advisory Board and then attend. It’s local, its affordable, and the college will gladly tailor the class to meet your needs. Need a quick review on any subject, let them know and I’ll bet you see it offered in the next few months. They respond quickly to local needs. So, while you have lots of opportunities for technical CE at your distributor, now you can get the CE at your local college. Just let them know.
